PTA DRAMA AUDITIONS!
Carrolltowne PTA is planning to produce the musical Willy Wonka this fall. Ms. Lydia Courtney has graciously offered to volunteer her time to direct this musical. Due to her schedule constraints, we need to get this underway as soon as possible. Auditions will be on Tuesday September 7th and Wednesday September 8th immediately following school. Auditions will be held in the school cafeteria. Informational flyers will be available at Back to School Night on September 2nd.

Welcome to Carrolltowne Elementary, home of the Cardinals! Carrolltowne is a wonderful school whose students are among the finest in the state. We have a superb facility that works together with parents, volunteers, and the community to ensure the best education for our children. Carrolltowne is a community of learners and we encourage parents to become involved in their community. We welcome you as you bring with you an untapped reservoir of ideas. Please join the PTA and if possible volunteer in any way you can. You will find that your interest and enthusiasm are contagious.
Our PTA meets monthly throughout the school year. Our meetings are normally held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Center. Snacks are available and the meetings rarely go past 8:00 p.m. You are always welcome at our monthly meetings. If there is an item you wish to have brought up at the meeting but can not make it, you may contact any board member or Mrs. Griffith (1st Grade), the teacher representative. Additionally, the newsletter that we previously published, The Connection, will no longer be produced. However, we will have a PTA section in the monthly newsletter that the school sends out - there you can find the latest information pertaining to your PTA (as well as always checking this website).
